JavaScript has either not been turned on, or your web browser is running an older version of JavaScript. Please make sure that JavaScript has been enabled:

  • In Netscape Navigator: click Edit from your browser's menu bar, then select Preferences. Click the Advanced category and be sure that "Enable JavaScript" is checked. Click OK to return to this Browser Test, then reload this page.

  • In Microsoft Internet Explorer: click Tools from your browser's menu bar, then select Internet Options. Select the Security tab, then click the Custom Level button. Scroll down to the Scripting options and Enable Active Scripting. Click OK twice to return to this Browser Test, then reload this page.

    Be sure to re-run the Test if you have made any changes to your browser's settings.

    Internet Explorer 6.x:
    IE 6 gives you the option to allow cookies on from one web site. This is the best way to protect your privacy if you use your web browser to view other sites and do not wish to enable cookies on all sites.

    1. Select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu.
    2. Click the "Privacy" tab (settings should be at Medium or Default)
    3. In the "Web Sites" area, click the [Edit] button
    4. Click in the "Address of Website" box and type "RefScheduler.net" without the quotes.
    5. Press the [Allow] button. Click [Ok] then [Ok] again.

    6. You may need to close your web browser (all of the Internet Explorer Windows open) and then restart your browser.
    7. Return to this Browser Test, then reload this page.

    Internet Explorer 5.x:

    Internet Explorer 3.x:

    This browser is not supported by Aggie Job Link. Cookies were introduced in Netscape 2.0 and MSIE 3.0. Unfortunately, the MSIE 3.0 implementation of cookies is somewhat flawed. While you can use cookies to save and read information on other computers, you can't save cookies to your own computer, which makes it really hard to test your cookie code. So, if you're using MSIE 3.0, you must upgrade to the most recent version.

    Opera 7.x

    1. Select "Preferences..." from the File menu.
    2. Select "Privacy"
    3. To enable: Select "Enable cookies"
    4. Click "OK"
    5. Return to this Browser Test, then reload this page.

    Netscape 7.x

    1. Click Edit on the Toolbar.
    2. Click Preferences
    3. Click the Privacy and Security category; expand the list to show the subcategories.
    4. Click Cookies
    5. Three options are displayed. Click:
    Enable cookies for the originating web site only.
    6. Return to this Browser Test, then reload this page.

    Netscape Communicator 6.x

    1. Select "Edit | Preferences..." from the main menu.
    2. Select "Privacy and Security | Cookies"
    3. To enable: Select "Accept all cookies" or "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server"
    4. Click "OK"
    5. Return to this Browser Test, then reload this page.

    Netscape Communicator 4.x

    Due to Javascript and errors with this browser (Netscape 4.0, 4.5, 4.78, etc.) will not work with Aggie Job Link. You must upgrade.

    Mac IE 5.x

    1. Click Edit
    2. Select Preferences
    3. Under the Receiving Files option, select Cookies
    4. Under "When receiving cookies:" select the desired level of cookie acceptance
    5. Under "When receiving cookies:" select the desired level of cookie acceptance
    6. Click OK to finish
    7. Return to this Browser Test, then reload this page.

    Mac IE 4.x

    1. Go to My AOL on the menu bar
    2. Pick WWW
    3. Go to the Advanced Settings option on the Category menu
    4. Click "Cookies"
    5. When receiving cookies: Click "Never Ask"
    6. Click OK

    AOL 8.0

    1. From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
    2. Select Preferences

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer for UNIX CSS not enabled CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) must be enabled. As far as we know, only Netscape 4.x allows you to turn CSS on and off:

  • In Netscape Navigator: click Edit from your browser's menu bar, then select Preferences. Click the Advanced category and be sure that "Enable style sheets" is checked. Click OK to return to this Browser Test, then reload this page.
